Dalton Man Killed In Jackson Township Car Crash

Tuesday night, Chester Khemchandani, 20, of Dalton, Ohio died following a multi-vehicle crash near the
Belden Village Mall in
Jackson Township. According to the
Ohio State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when a vehicle driven by David Dantonio, 59, of North Canton, Ohio struck Khemchandani's car while three lanes of traffic were at a standstill.
The impact caused several other crashes. Two other people were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries and two other individuals were treated by paramedics at the scene. Although State Troopers suspect alcohol use might have contributed to the crash, no charges have been filed.
